Job Description:
The Graduate Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach in all areas of operating an elite college sport program. The successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task efficiently, communicate at a high level, and be extremely organized. The Graduate Assistant Coach will report to the Head Coach of the assigned sport. Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Serve as a position/general sport assistant coach Help with recruiting responsibilities Prepare opponent scouting reports Organize team travel (hotels, meals, etc.) Assist in facility maintenance Represent the sport program and the university in the community Assist in monitoring CARA for the sport program Assist with conducting and organizing team and individual practice and workouts Additional Duties and Responsibilities (Non-Essential Functions): Keep up with the latest in player development techniques Be engaged at campus events Assist in the Sport Camp administration and operation Monitor student-athlete academic progress Other duties as assigned by the
Head Coach Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required Coaching and/or playing experience recommended Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks Computer skills
