The GTA will work under the guidance of a faculty member and collaborate with departmental lab managers to ensure smooth lab operations and student success. Essential Job Functions Assist in teaching and supervising General Chemistry II laboratory sessions. Support the professor and lab managers in preparing and organizing lab materials. Ensure safety protocols are followed in the laboratory. Provide guidance to students during lab experiments and answer questions related to course content. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance as directed. Minimum and Desired Qualifications Must be a current graduate student in good academic standing at Lamar University.
