EXPERIENCE
Three (3) years of work experience in the technical skills, trade, or vocations to be taught are required. One (1) of the three (3) years of the required experience must be within the last five (5) years, or two (2) years within the last ten (10) years.EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree highly desirable.CREDENTIALS/CERTIFICATES/LICENSES
Possession of, or ability to obtain prior to employment, a valid California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Teaching or Vocational Credential for the subject to be taught is required. (Refer to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing website at www.ctc.ca.gov for Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Teaching Credentials). (You must apply for annual waiver while completing University credentialing program of study until CTEL certification or EL equivalent is obtained through clear credential.) You must provide copies of credentials as required for the position or provide evidence of qualifying for required credential with your application materials. Valid CA driver's license, copy of transcripts (official sealed transcripts required if applying for credential), TB and fingerprint clearance.
