F36-21 Announcement Summary This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised. The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings. Duties Provide direction, supervision and instruction in the clinical area Make expectations and objectives of the clinical assignments clear Actively participate in teaching clinical procedures Assist student with clinical data interpretation Conduct pre- and/or post-conferences each clinical day Supervise students during clinical hours and hold them accountable to the program policies and standards of the profession Provide ongoing constructive verbal and written feedback to students regarding their clinical performance Inform Sterile Processing Programs Coordinator of any clinical problems/concerns Formally evaluate students on clinical performance in writing on the program evaluation form at midterm and at the end of the semester Hold private conferences with students for the review of clinical evaluations Participate in the departmental evaluation process according to departmental policy Minimum Qualifications Qualified candidate should possess five years relevant work experience, excellent written/oral communication skills, and willingness to accept responsibility for professional and personal growth Preferred Qualifications Certified in Sterile Processing and teaching experience at the community college Special Instructions to Applicants Spring semester only
