A Health Sciences Professor teaches foundational health science ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction, lab experience, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the health science curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.

Adjunct Job Description The Adjunct Faculty member contributes to the Physician Assistant (PA) Program by delivering high-quality instruction in their area of subject matter expertise. Adjunct Faculty may be clinicians, researchers, educators, or professionals with specialized knowledge, hired to teach specific content during the didactic or clinical phase of the curriculum. This role is essential to maintaining academic rigor and supporting student success through well-prepared, relevant, and engaging instruction Required Qualifications Subject matter expertise relevant to the course being taught. Educational and/or professional background appropriate to instructional content (e.g., clinical experience, academic training, research experience, certifications). Prior teaching or instructional experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
