A Health Sciences Professor teaches foundational health science ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction, lab experience, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the health science curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.

In addition, this position will participate in the programs operations as required by the accrediting body (ARC-PA). Current expertise in one or more basic science curriculum content areas of the MPAS degree Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team Demonstrated ability to adapt to change Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and academic systems (e.g. learning management systems such as Canvas, BlackBoard)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of a doctoral degree in a medical science such as anatomy, physiology, microbiology, or equivelent Excellent oral, written, organizational, and computer skills. Preferred Qualifications Teaching experience in classroom and clinical settings, preferably in an institution of higher learning Evidence of potential for excellence in teaching and scholarly activity.
