The Department of Health Sciences is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented student assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year. This a FWS position. The student must be FWS eligible. The student must be able to work 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to faculty/staff as needed
- Record management, computerized and manual
- Filing, data entry using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software
- Operation of copier and scanner
- Complete projects and any other duties assigned by faculty and staff in a timely manner
- Occasional assistance at main office reception desk if needed
- Respect the confidentiality of documents being handled and the department
- Be responsible, professional, and dependable at all times
Qualifications:
- Must be Federal Work Study Eligible
- Willing to work 10 hours per week, Monday-Friday
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills, in-person and via various technology
- Professional attitude
- Shows initiative
- Excellent organization skills
- Proficient with Word and Excel
- Health Sciences Majors preferred
