Shepherd University invites applications for a nine-month, full-time Clinical Instructor of Accounting in the College of Business and Technology. Responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, university service, and advising. Courses may be face-to-face, hybrid, or online. Evening teaching may be required. Responsibilities will primarily include teaching accounting, but will also include support for business administration and finance courses in the undergraduate and/or graduate program, committee service, and advising responsibilities. The candidate will teach tax and coordinate student participation in the local VITA program. Courses may be face-to-face, hybrid, or online. However, they will primarily be in person. Evening teaching may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates for the Accounting Clinical Instructor position must have a minimum of a Master's degree with CPA certification and experience in the field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. or the ability to obtain one. Appointment to this position will be contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
