Full Job Description Summary:
Under the direct supervision of Vice President, Provider Relations, or as otherwise directed, and with general responsibility to the Provider Relations Division, this position is responsible for accurate and timely secretarial support, file maintenance, and mailings.Specific Duties:
Under the general direction and guidance of the Director, Credentialing, and through specific direction provided by the person for whom work is performed: 1. Provide accurate and timely administrative support to Provider Relations. Screen and refer provider calls and emails. 2. Prepare and mail or email provider information packets. 3. Create and maintain provider files in an orderly manner. Maintain checklist for provider information and update daily. 4. Prepare letters, agreements, and general correspondence for Provider Relations, Network Development. 5. Assist in preparation and set-up of Provider Relations meetings and panels. 6. Maintain provider applications, qualifications, terms and questionnaires on a regular basis. 7. Serve as back-up receptionist for patients, visitors, callers, etc. Screen and refer calls. 8. Provide back up to Provider Relations Assistant, Credentialing as needed. To include the initiation of recredentialing and licensure/insurance update processes as requested. Review provider and primary source responses. 9. Assist in maintenance of computerized provider system(s) as directed. Enter all providers from new client disruption lists into a Development status in system database. Provide back-up support for Provider Relations Assistant, Credentialing as needed. 10. Prepare reports as requested. 11. Maintain all information in a confidential manner. 12. Adhere to established policies and procedures as directed. 13. Perform other related duties and special projects as directed.Qualifications :
- High school diploma, some college preferred
- 2 years administrative experience
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs and move large rolling filing shelves
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required (i.e., mail merges, spreadsheets)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Good organization and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines/handle interruptions
- Cooperative attitude and self-starter
- Superior disposition and telephone communication skills
- Dependability and punctuality
Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
