Preferred Qualifications Job Description Summary The University of South Alabama's College of Medicine's Medical Education department is seeking to hire a Program Coordinator, COM Simulation Lab. Interested candidates should apply to be considered. Essential Functions These are the job duties required of the position. Essential Functions Coordinates scheduling of all simulation center activities in collaboration with College of Medicine faculty, Allied Health Programs simulation faculty, Graduate Medical Education (GME) faculty, USA Health users, and external users. Manages the simulation center scheduling system and books learning spaces, personnel, and equipment to prevent conflicts; escalates scheduling conflicts to the Director, if needed. Coordinates with the Director and Assistant Directors to appropriately allocate resources, including space, staffing, and equipment. Coordinates scheduling of operations staff, clinical faculty, standardized patients, and contractors for simulation activities. Communicates logistical information to faculty, students, and simulation staff before simulation events, as needed. Assists with logistical coordination of simulation events before, during, and after activities. Prepares invoices and maintains records of simulation center financial transactions. Tracks revenue associated with external simulation activities. Maintains administrative records and documentation related to simulation center operations. Assists with tracking of consumables and ordering of supplies in coordination with simulation technologists. Regular and prompt attendance. Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime hours as required. Related duties as required.
