This person is responsible for the K-12th grade cumulative folders, report cards, databases, transcripts, and other related data. The employee in this position is responsible for the efficient and effective performance of full-range, complex tasks, including effective public relations, office detail work and processing numerous requests. The employee also provides coordination of assigned activities, routine projects, and works with sensitive and confidential information and correspondence. Minimal supervision is received from the principals and counselors, who review work occasionally or on a problem basis through conferences and results achieved. The employee is expected to exercise initiative and judgment in planning and organizing work, efficiently accomplishing work assignments, handling work problems, and handling confidential matters. The registrar works closely with the principals, admissions director, counselors, and counselor in charge of scheduling. S/he is often the final step in internal accounting and must understand the legalities for record keeping.
