Full Job Description Overview:
This position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive behavioral health services, primarily focusing on children, including prevention, treatment, and recovery support.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric and medical assessments Collaborate with primary care providers for integrated treatment plans Monitor medication use, side effects, and interactions
Qualifications:
Valid California medical license (MD or DO) Certification as a psychiatrist (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology) Residency training in psychiatry or family medicine/psychiatry Two years of full-time psychiatric experience in children and adults Medicare and Medicaid numbers prior to employment Excellent communication skills and proficiency with electronic health records This part-time role pays $141.42 - $150.00/hour based on experience.
