Job Description
We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as our Campus Director. Responsibilities include leading campus operations and growth, implementing policies and procedures in accordance with AGMU Institution, achieving enrollment and retention objectives, and developing and maintaining a positive environment for the academic community. While bringing new relationships that assist in the growth of the campus population. Ana G. Mendez University serves a diverse student population, offering bilingual education to the community for traditional and non-traditional students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1.
Responsible for the overall operation and development of the campus in accordance with norms, policies, and procedures established by AGMU. 2. Lead all academic and administrative related processes. 3. Participate in the strategic planning process for the development of a formal Strategic Plan in accordance with AGMU's vision and mission. 4. Analyze and recommend changes or modifications to academic programs based on actual and future students' demand. 5. Develop and coordinate staff and faculty development activities. 6. Coordinate workshops for new faculty recruitment. 7. Serve as a liaison between the Campus and the different operational areas. 8. Develop and implement operational activities, norms, and procedures for the Campus to ensure enrollment, budget, administrative, and academic goals. 9. Supervise the planning and implementation of marketing and recruitment activities based on the Campus Marketing Plan. 10. Responsible for the elaboration and implementation of the Campus operational budget based on policies and projections. 11. Responsible for student retention, productivity, and enrollment goals. 12. Supervise and evaluate Directive staff in accordance with productivity and general institutional policies and principles. 13. Analyze all available statistical reports for decision-making. 14. Ensure student representative meetings are conducted every semester. 15. Responsible for enhancing community relationships that foster campus growth through a positive institutional image. 16. Represent the Campus in external activities throughout the community as well as professional and social organizations. 17. Responsible for promoting and maintaining a positive environment that stimulates interaction, ethics, and respect between students, faculty, administration, and the general community. 18. Maintain and correctly manage confidential information in accordance with FERPA regulations and other institutional policies.REQUIREMENTS 1.
Master's degree in education or in an administration area. 2. Six (6) years of experience in high levels of administration in a higher education environment. 3. Ability to express both verbally and in writing fluently in English and Spanish. 4. Proven supervisory and leadership skills through outcomes in previous work experiences. 5. Knowledge and experience of adult education and services to the adult learner (preferred). 6. Proven experience in key areas such as management, public relations, recruitment, conflict resolution, decision-making, and problem solving. 7. Excellent interpersonal and team building skills. 8. Computer competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). 9. Previous experience and knowledge of Anthology and Canva (preferred). 10. Available to work On-site in South Florida Location. 11. Available to work a non-traditional schedule, including nights and weekends, when necessary. 12. Available to travel in or out of the United States for trainings, conferences, or meetings.ABOUT AGMU
