Job Description

Summary/objective Responsible for providing leadership and training system-wide for all elements of student recruitment and the management and training of all Admissions personnel, as well as allocating staff as needed for projects and/or in response to increased inquiry flow within a particular division of the organization. In addition, this position provides training to Education department staff designed to enhance relationships with students, aid in goal setting and holding students accountable, and reducing student attrition. Essential functions Responsible for the hiring, training and management of all Admissions Personnel Daily leadership of Admissions staff and appropriate allocation of staffing resources to service inquiry and applicant flow at locations within the Taylor College organization. Provide appropriate feedback concerning job performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Conduct yearly performance reviews for Admissions personnel. Coordinate system-wide recruitment activities, such as Career Awareness Days, Orientation, and Open Houses Plan and execute a minimum of 2 training sessions per month, separately, for Admissions and Education staff Serve as a point of contact for student issues, and respond to these in a timely fashion, utilizing other departments/resources as necessary. Conduct check-ins with students on a schedule to be developed with the Campus President. Provide a summary of these check-ins on a monthly basis, with analysis of trends and/or recurring items. Provide follow-up contact with students expressing a desire to speak with Taylor College staff as part of the institution's student survey process. Perform additional follow-through with items identified during these meetings that require further attention/action(s). Develop and maintain relationships with agencies/organizations that fund student training, toward the goal of developing long-term partnerships for training opportunities. Ensure staff fit into the culture of the campus and share the organizational values. Represent Taylor College in a professional manner when interacting with the public, students, staff and agencies. Report required metrics to the Campus President Operate to the highest standards of ethics and compliance. Keep current with ABHES and ACEN accreditation requirements for student recruitment, advertising and disclosures. Supervisory responsibilities This position has supervisory responsibilities with the admissions specialist.
