ORA_ON_SITE Description The Education and Training Engagement Manager is a critical role supporting the
US PACOM J752
Training and Analysis Branch. Reporting directly to the
US PACOM
Headquarters Training Program Manager, you will independently lead specialized training programs nestled under the broader HQ training plan.
JOB DUTIES
Program Development & Execution:
Lead design, implementation, and management of joint-focused education and training programs for
US PACOM
HQ, including needs assessment and integration into the headquarters training plan.
Strategic Relationship Management:
Serve as primary liaison to academia, industry, and Joint Component Commands (PACFLT, PACAF, USARPAC, MARFORPAC) to identify emerging educational opportunities, coordinate training, and facilitate engagement between external experts and internal stakeholders.
Strategic Alignment, Equity & Access:
Align programs and partnerships with Commander's intent and J7 strategic goals, while promoting equitable access to training and removing administrative and structural barriers for joint staff. Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of relevant experience; an additional four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of a degree. Proven track record of successfully managing relationships with external entities, specifically in academia and private industry. Experience managing complex programs independently while reporting to a centralized program manager. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required to draft training announcements, coordinate across service lines, and present initiatives to senior leadership.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE
Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Target salary range:
$120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
