Immediately Job Description School Nutrition Director Immediate Opening for the 2026-2027 School Year The Solon Community School District is seeking a skilled and collaborative School Nutrition Program Director to manage and direct the district's food service program. The School Nutrition Program Director is responsible for the overall administration, operation, and compliance of the district's School Nutrition Program, including the School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. The Director reports to the Superintendent or designee and ensures the program operates on a nonprofit basis in accordance with federal, state, and Iowa Department of Education regulations. A candidate's application will include a letter of interest, resumé, official transcripts, and references to be considered for the position. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's (any major) + 1 year food service experience, OR Bachelor's/Associate's degree in an approved major, OR Equivalent educational experienceTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This is a full-time 200 day contract.Compensation:
$58,000 base per year, commensurate with experience. The final salary offer will be determined based on the successful candidate's years of relevant experience, specialized skills, and the unique track record they bring to the district.- $545.00 per month board benefit towards insurance options provided by the district;
