OF VACANCY
POSITION:
Athletic Director
12 Month Contract Full-time Position
The Athletic Director provides leadership, administration and oversight for Allen's
intercollegiate athletics program, including varsity and developmental/JV athletic
teams and other College-sponsored competitive athletic programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in athletic administration, sports
management, education, business, student affairs, or a related field is required. A
minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in collegiate athletics,
athletics administration, coaching, student affairs or a closely related area.
Experience in NJCAA and/or community college athletics. Demonstrated supervisory
or leadership experience. Knowledge of collegiate athletics, administration, student-
athlete eligibility, recruiting, compliance and student success. Valid driver's license
and ability to travel as required. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and other non-
traditional hours as required by athletics schedules.
LOCATION
Iola, Kansas Campus office location
SALARY:
Negotiable depending upon education and experience. Excellent benefit package
available including health and dental insurance with low deductibles, KPERS
retirement plan, 403b plan with $50/month match, generous leave allowance, holiday
pay, sick leave, personal day, vacation pay, vision insurance, life insurance, disability
coverage, employee assistance plan, and educational benefits including immediate
family members.
STARTING DATE
Salary range of $62,000- 95,000/yr. depending upon education and experience.
