POSITION
ATHLETIC
DIRECTOR 12
Month Contract Full-time Position The Athletic Director provides leadership, administration and oversight for Allen's intercollegiate athletics program, including varsity and developmental/JV athletic teams and other College-sponsored competitive athletic programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in athletic administration, sports management, education, business, student affairs, or a related field is required. A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in collegiate athletics, athletics administration, coaching, student affairs or a closely related area. Experience in NJCAA and/or community college athletics. Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience. Knowledge of collegiate athletics, administration, student athlete eligibility, recruiting, compliance and student success. Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and other nontraditional hours as required by athletics schedules.

Iola, Kansas Campus office location
SALARY:
$62 - 95,000 year based on education and experience. Excellent benefit package available including health and dental insurance with low deductibles, KPERS retirement plan, 403b plan with $50/month match, generous leave allowance, holiday pay, sick leave, personal day, vacation pay, vision insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, employee assistance plan, and educational benefits including immediate family members.

The sports teams include Baseball, Softball, Men's & Women's Basketball, Men's & Women's Track/Field and Cross Country, Cheerleading and Dance, Volleyball, and Shooting Sports. Allen Community College provides quality higher education and workforce development through onsite and online learning to approximately 4,000 students each academic year. The Iola Campus, with residence halls and vibrant arts and athletics programs, offers the two-year college experience in a caring environment. Allen Online Learning serves students with individual online courses and fully online certificate and degree programs. Allen also provides dual credit opportunities to high school students in our service area and throughout the state of Kansas.
