Job Description

Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute is a physician-owned, orthopedic hospital, serving the Kansas City area for 25 years. Join a team dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes and outstanding patient experience! We're seeking a full-time Hospital Admissions Representative for our Surgery & Pain areas to work Mondays-Fridays from 5am-2pm. Our Admissions Reps use whiteboard/dashboard/ER Express and or phone for notification of patient arrival/status.
Responsibilities include:
Opening and closing duties Greeting and registering patients Pre-registration Scheduling appointments Insurance Verifications Collecting and posting copays and deductibles Tracking visits and authorizations Preparing admissions paperwork Admitting patients
Experience:
Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Medical Field:
