In this dynamic role, organize competitive games, and cultivate a positive, team-oriented environment. Your leadership will inspire players to improve their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game while ensuring safety and adherence to program standards. Duties Organize and oversee basketball games and practice schedules to maximize participation and enjoyment Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and participants regarding program updates, and behavioral expectations Schedule the referees and score keepers for the games. Lead a team of employees to help improve and grow the basketball program. Experience Prior experience coaching or directing basketball teams at youth or community levels Demonstrated leadership in sports coaching environments with a focus on team development and motivation Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or recreational settings Certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED operation. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff while managing behavior positively
