Job Description
Overview Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center seeks a strategic and dynamic Director of Admissions to spearhead the launch and growth of its new FlexTime JD program in Great Falls, Montana. The Director of Admissions will have the unique opportunity to build the inaugural class for the program and be responsible for recruiting and providing admissions counseling to prospective students, evaluating applications, and managing and overseeing the daily operations of the admission processes for the Touro Law Montana FlexTime JD Program. This position is based in Great Falls, Montana. Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manages and oversees the daily operations and admissions processes tailored specifically for the launch of the Touro Law Montana FlexTime JD Program. Partners with the Assistant Dean for Admissions to plan and implement an innovative and localized strategy for recruiting high-quality applicants. Evaluates applications and assists with making decisions on admission to achieve enrollment goals. Coordinates and attends recruitment events/law school/graduate school fairs and LSAC forums. Cultivates relations with regional pre-law advisors to build a pipeline of applicants. Hosts law school information sessions by zoom or in person and provides personalized tours to prospective students. Coordinates all aspects of on-campus and virtual outreach events including open houses, information sessions, and accepted students events. Personally counsels, corresponds with and guides prospective and admitted students though the enrollment process. Collaborates with the marketing department in developing publications (eg, viewbook). Other administrative duties as required by the Assistant Dean for admissions. Qualifications Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree required. J.D. preferred. College or Graduate admissions experience preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Communication and interpersonal skills. Accuracy and productivity in completing tasks. Ability to solve problems and meet deadlines. Team-oriented with a student service approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Travel As needed for recruiting events. Other travel as assigned by the Assistant Dean for Admissions. Working Conditions Extensive Use of Computers Extensive time sitting and standing Able to lift up to 5 lbs. Maximum Salary USD $125,000.00/Yr. Minimum Salary USD $100,000.00/Yr.
