The Coordinator of Annual Giving, Communications and Alumni Relations strengthens connections between Brevard College and its alumni, donors, parents, friends, and community partners. The position coordinates annual giving, advancement communications, alumni engagement, and key advancement events. Working with Alumni Affairs and Development colleagues and campus partners, the Coordinator helps grow philanthropic participation, deepen alumni engagement, and create consistent, mission-focused communications and experiences. Key Responsibilities Annual Giving Coordinate the College's annual giving program for alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, and other constituents. Implement strategies to increase donor acquisition, retention, participation, and giving. Lead planning and execution of I � BC Day, including messaging, donor challenges, campus participation, and athletics fundraising. Support leadership annual giving and help identify donors for major gift qualification. Make annual and leadership gift solicitations as appropriate and document activity in the CRM. Advancement Communications Coordinate advancement communications that support fundraising, alumni engagement, and donor stewardship. Produce the monthly alumni and donor e-newsletter and quarterly advancement publications. Develop and coordinate content for email, social media, appeals, events, and other digital channels. Partner with Marketing and Communications to ensure consistent College branding and messaging. Gather stories, photos, testimonials, and impact content from faculty, staff, students, alumni, and Athletics. Maintain an annual advancement communications calendar. Alumni Relations & Engagement Serve as a primary staff contact for the Alumni Board and support alumni engagement activities. Recruit and engage alumni volunteers for events, mentoring, networking, and fundraising initiatives. Partner with campus colleagues to connect alumni with students and strengthen lifelong engagement with the College. Events & Campus Engagement Coordinate alumni and donor events, including I � BC Day, Homecoming, Scholarship Luncheon, Celebration of Philanthropy, and Fine Arts Gala. Manage event communications, invitations, online registration, guest lists, logistics, vendors, and follow-up. Work with campus partners and volunteers to deliver high-quality events that support cultivation, engagement, and stewardship. Collaboration & Institutional Support Support annual, major, planned, and campaign fundraising priorities in collaboration with advancement colleagues. Partner with Athletics, Marketing and Communications, Admissions, Student Life, Academic Affairs, and other campus departments. Represent Brevard College at alumni, donor, community, athletics, and campus events. Support special initiatives and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree. Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and project-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships with alumni, donors, volunteers, students, faculty, and staff. Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional, accurate communications. Ability to attend occasional evening and weekend events and travel for alumni and donor engagement. Commitment to the mission and values of Brevard College. Preferred Experience in fundraising, alumni relations, communications, marketing, events, higher education, or a related field. Experience with digital, email, social media, or print communications and event coordination. Familiarity with donor or constituent relationship management systems. Experience with annual giving, donor solicitation, or stewardship.
