Service Technician Job Description We are seeking a reliable and skilled Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform demand service calls for residential HVAC systems and assist in training junior team members. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various brands of residential HVAC equipment. The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to work independently. Occasionally, you may also be called upon to install residential equipment as needed.

Responsibilities:
Service, troubleshoot and repair HVAC-related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications. Maintain residential HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and customers. Properly maintain equipment histories, billing, and other records in digital platforms. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of assigned company vehicle.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent. EPA Certification required. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Service Technician.
Key Competencies:
Effective written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems commonly encountered in support of HVAC systems. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Self-motivated but able to take direction and be part of a team. Honest and dependable. Valid, insurable driver's license; ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
