Athletics (section) Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit The Athletic Department is a vital part of student life and the educational process atElizabeth City State University. It provides a well-rounded schedule of college athleticcompetition designed to encourage participation by the student body. The departmentencourages physical fitness and the development of physical skills and emotional control. Description of Work The Coordinator for Student-Athlete Success (SAS) will serve as the secondary liaison to the Director of Student Success and Wellness and the Office of Student Success, for student accessibility services. Under the supervision of the Director of SASW, the Coordinator will provide wide-ranging support services for intercollegiate student-athletes in the areas of academic and wellness that is consistent with the University's mission, the NCAA , and the CIAA.
