DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Director has the following duties and responsibilities: Curriculum and Instruction Provide effective instruction of at least one course per semester (fall, spring,and summer) via intentional planning, presenting, and assessment Recommend, in consultation with faculty, changes toprograms of study in the department via the College's curriculum approval processes Develop, with faculty, program-levelcompetencies that outline expected student learning outcomes, program outcomes and administrative outcomes by oversight of each program'sOutcome Assessment Plan (OAP). Communicate needed updates for instructional materials and syllabi provided in classesoffered within the department Review all courses in the LMS for compliance with the LMS rubric and Department ofEducation (DOE) guidelines. Develop class schedules cooperatively with other departments of the college for approval bythe Dean. Ensure departmental compliance with timely and accurate reporting, including census/attendance reports, gradeupdates and submission, and LMS stats. Management Collaborate with faculty to lead programadvisory and industry collaboration discussions, ensuring program relevance to employers or senior institutions. Overseethe program review process, analyzing data and utilizing input from program faculty, advisory committee members, and students Onboard, supervise, and support full and part-time faculty in implementation of effective instructional practices Evaluate all faculty within the program(s) in accordance with the College's faculty evaluation policies and procedures Recommend and request instructional equipment and materials as needed to support program growth and relevancy Serveon college committees as assigned Participate in professional development to enhance leadership, instructional quality,and maintain certifications appropriate to the field Perform other duties as assigned by the appropriate Dean, VicePresident, and/or the President of Robeson Community College.
QUALIFICATIONS
The Program Director mustmeet the following minimum qualifications: Education A Master's Degree in a program/requireddiscipline taught within the department. Experience At least three years of full-time teaching experience inboth seated and online formats in a higher education setting Physical Demands The percentage rangelisted below is used to qualify the physical demands of the job: 0% Never, 1-33% Occasional, 34-66% Frequent, 67-100%Continuous The job requires a full range of body motion that includes: Standing/Walking

ADDITIONALEMPLOYMENT INFORMATION
This is a 9-month faculty position with an extended 3-month full-time contract over the summer. Employment isaligned with the academic calendar, and the selected candidate will not be scheduled to work during periods when students are not insession, except on dates required in accordance with college policy or procedure.
