Administrator The Director of Admissions Operations serves as a key member of the undergraduate admissions leadership team and reports to the Vice President of Enrollment Management. This position provides strategic vision, collaborative leadership, and operational oversight for the systems, processes, and technologies that support the undergraduate admissions lifecycle The Director is a key member of the team, providing support for the continued development, innovation, optimization, and maintenance of Slate by Technolutions as it pertains specifically to admissions operations. The Director also oversees application processing and supports related student information systems, including Banner. In partnership with colleagues across Enrollment Management and the University, the Director of Admissions Operations advances technology and database solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen data integrity, enhance the applicant experience, and support informed, data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will bring a thoughtful, service-oriented approach to operational excellence while identifying opportunities to streamline processes, promote best practices, and ensure that admissions operations effectively support the University's enrollment goals in alignment with the university's mission and its Catholic values. This position must uphold confidentiality, and use discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive financial and personnel information.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide operational oversight for Slate and Banner and is related to Undergraduate Admissions, including system administration, configuration, integrations, testing, data integrity, workflow automation, documentation, and issue resolution. Develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve undergraduate admissions processes, policies, procedures, training materials, and operational documentation. Coordinate all aspects of undergraduate application processing and collaborate with enrollment leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient operations. Supervise admissions operations staff, including hiring, training, staff development, performance management, work assignment, and quality assurance. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and external partners, including system integrations, data exchanges, testing plans, implementation timelines, and problem resolution. Support broader undergraduate admissions activities, including application review, student and family communications, recruitment coverage, open houses, admitted-student programs, and other enrollment events. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years experience in admission, with experience in the processing area
- Organizational & communications skills
