Digital Philanthropy Center Associate (UC Student Employment) - Summer/Fall 2026 University of Cincinnati Foundation - 4.2 Cincinnati, OH Job Details Part-time $12 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Alumni relations (outreach initiatives) Fundraising Organizational skills Outbound calling Communication skills Negotiation Entry level Full Job Description Focus Student fundraisers in the Digital Philanthropy Center are a critical component to keeping open lines of communication with alumni and friends of The University of Cincinnati. Additionally, you'll raise thousands of dollars a year for scholarships and UC initiatives. In this position you will call alumni and donors to solicit their support of UC. Working in our well-equipped call center, you'll receive the training and tools needed to be successful. This position requires strong verbal communication skills, a problem-solving mentality, the ability to think strategically in a fast-paced environment, and a genuine desire to advance the mission of the University of Cincinnati. Working at the Digital Philanthropy Center is an excellent opportunity to develop your communication, negotiation, and fundraising knowledge and expertise while networking with a wide variety of members of the Bearcat family. Specific Duties Serve as an ambassador for the University of Cincinnati by discussing University initiatives, accolades, and accomplishments. Call constituents (alumni and friends) to build personal rapport, update demographic information, and secure donations to the Foundation. Use additional tools such as SMS, email and video to support your outreach efforts. Work with other associates in a team-oriented environment to achieve goals. Commit to a minimum of three 3-hour shifts (out of six available shifts) per week. The shift times are Sunday 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday - Thursday 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Currently enrolled at UC Main Campus with an above average grade point Keen interest in fundraising with excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in-person and independently Strong work ethic and dedication to successfully completing tasks on time. (COOP 1000 starting Summer 2021) Internship Reflection course•, led by Experience-Based Learning and Career Education (ELCE) faculty.
