Counseling & Treatment Center Position Description:

Clinical Work hours: 9am-5PM Tuesday-Saturday
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Develops therapeutic programming with the Program Director. Schedules and facilitates therapeutic programming.
Clinically supports residential therapeutic staff:
signing off on notes, EMR training, QBHS training, and crisis intervention training. Carries a caseload of youth to provide individual therapy weekly. Provides family sessions as needed. Facilitates groups. Completes psychosocial assessment and treatment plans. Provides case management services per request of Program Director. Provides crisis intervention. Creates and gives trainings alongside the Youth Leadership team based on the needs of the therapeutic and residential staff. Collaborates with the youth leadership team to discuss residents progress and attendance in therapeutic services. Oversees documentation from residential staff to assure that documentation standards are met, and that documentation is being completed in a timely manner.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in counseling, Social Work or related field preferred
LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC
(required) Broad knowledge of the social service system in particular with Children's services and behaviorally challenged youth work with youth
SKILLS REQUIRED
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Decision making skills Strong oral/written communication skills Problem/conflict resolutions
