An offer within this range will be determined by the experience and qualifications of a candidate and will be our best and final compensation offer, in alignment with Oakland Zoo's compensation philosophy. Applications accepted until May 6 2026. Position Summary This role is a great fit for someone with a keen eye for detail, the ability to assess and improve systems, and strong collaboration skills. The Admissions Coordinator is a key member of our Admissions team. They fill a clerical role and assist with special, project-based assignments to support the maintenance and growth of various admission programs Essential Job Duties Manage and improve system for rolling daytime admissions sales online Collaborate with Learning & Engagement and Guest Services-Admissions teams to manage ticket capacity set aside for Education Programs and Self-Guided Large Groups Set-up and maintain ticket capacity for special events (like Glowfari) Manage and improve the Zoo's complimentary admission programs Manage and improve how standing discounts on daytime admission are implemented (Oakland Resident, Military/Veteran, Reciprocal Member) Manage and improve the Zoo's employee perks related to admission, including but not limited to guest passes and reciprocal benefits for employees Collaborate with the Zoo's concessions and retail partner, SSA on admission for event rentals Support Admissions director in advancing new ticketing and access initiatives Collaborate on the collection, analysis and distribution of admissions sales and guest data Support ticketing promotions and revenue driving initiatives for admissions and related revenue lines Collaborate with Guest Services, Security, and Grounds departments to manage lawn parking capacity Serve as an Admissions representative on cross-departmental working groups Support training for other staff on ticketing platform Performs other related duties as required and assigned Supervisory Responsibility None Who You Are Minimum of 3 relevant experience, including experience with at least one CRM or ticketing software package as a frontend and backend user Highly organized, reliable, and flexible Able to work independently, managing competing priorities with recurring and project-based tasks Excellent attention to detail with repetitive tasks Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, and data cleanup) to analyze admissions and guest data and support reporting Excellent at building constructive, positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues within and outside your department Available to work ocassionally on evenings & weekends Bonus If You Have An Associate's Degree Experience with Galaxy Admission Control software Experience working in admissions or related department at a zoo, aquarium, museum or other facility with ticketed attendance Experience using Power BI (or similar tools) to navigate dashboards and data visualizations for admissions and guest insights Work Environment

• Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.
