GED Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and personable Admissions Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact for prospective students, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service, answering inquiries about our programs and schedule campus visits. This is a role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for helping our students achieve their educational goals. The Admissions Representative serves as the first point of contact for prospective students exploring their educational options. This role is responsible for guiding students through the admissions process, from inquiry to enrollment, while delivering high-quality and personalized experience. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a student-first mindset. This position will focus on the potential student's experience and work closely with other internal departments to ensure that the potential student's experience is exceptional.
Core Responsibilities:
Student Engagement & Communication Respond to inquiries from potential students via phone, email, text, and chat, providing detailed information about programs, campus locations, and the admissions process. Provide an engaged, informative, and positive student experience on behalf of DTC. Follow up with students during the enrollment process, including making outbound calls, handling inbound inquiries, and scheduling follow-up appointments. Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and support services. Admissions Process & Support Meet with prospective students to assess program interest and career goals. Facilitate student meetings with the Financial Aid department or Student Accounts. Administer admissions assessments and collect supporting documents to determine eligibility for program acceptance. Professionalism & Institutional Representation Maintain a professional attitude and manner that reflects MTI/DTC's high standards and a commitment to shaping student futures. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and dress code. Ensure all work activities comply with federal regulations and internal compliance standards. Internal Communication & Collaboration Keep informed of departmental activities, including enrollment projections and upcoming start dates. Provide relevant updates to the Director of Admissions and Campus President regarding trends, potential challenges, and key insights. Problem Solving & Student-Centered Focus Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and ensure a positive experience for both current and prospective students throughout the admissions journey. Other Responsibilities Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the success of the Admissions department and the broader goals of Midwest Technical Institute. Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset are essential. Consistently adhere to all institutional policies, procedures, and standards as required by the position. Education & Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent required 2 Years of related work experience required Training in Customer Service preferred

Working Conditions:
Standard office environment Infrequent Travel to campuses for off-site training - Less than 5% Full-Time role with a standard 40-hour workweek, occasional overtime can be required.
Compensation & Benefits:
