The Director of Admissions provides strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of studentrecruitment, admissions, matriculation, and enrollment. This role is responsible for developing, designing, and implementing comprehensiveenrollment management and recruitment strategies that support the University's goals and objectives. The Director oversees admissionspolicies and processes, supervises the application lifecycle, and leverages customer relationship management strategies to enhanceprospective student engagement. As a key member of University committees, the Director analyzes and reports recruitment data and outcomes toinform decision-making and ensure institutional effectiveness. The Director is under the general direction of the Vice President ofEnrollment Management & Student Affairs. Responsible for one shift, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week. Incumbents are subject to hours beyond thenormal workday.
Job Responsibilities:
Leads the development and execution of a comprehensive,data-informed recruitment strategy to support the University's undergraduate and designated graduate enrollment goals. Providesstrategic leadership, direction, and oversight for all designated recruitment operations, cultivating a high-performing team througheffective hiring, supervision, and professional development of administrative, professional, student, and support staff. Maintainsprofessional expertise and industry awareness through ongoing engagement in professional development, including research, networking,conferences, and training aligned with priorities or as required. Oversees the planning, development, and management of thedepartmental budget, ensuring the effective and efficient use of institutional resources in support of enrollmentobjectives. Collects, analyzes, and interprets admissions and enrollment data to inform both short-term initiatives and long-termstrategic planning. Designs and implements data-driven recruitment strategies by leveraging multiple data sources to assess studentand market trends, and the University's competitive position. Collaborates with the Director of Marketing and Alumni Affairs todevelop targeted marketing materials and/or campaigns that enhance and strengthen recruitment efforts. Serves as the department'sdata governance subject matter expert, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data through established definitions, processes,and quality control standards. Performs other responsibilities as assigned or directed.
MinimumRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration, Business, Data Analytics, or a relatedfield. 4-6 years of progressive experience in admissions, enrollment management, or related higher educationoperations. Three (3) years of supervisory or management experience. Demonstrated experience working with admissions CRMsystems and student information systems.
Desired Requirements:
Master's degree in HigherEducation Administration, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field. Seven (7) years of progressive experience in admissions,enrollment management, or related higher education operations, of which at least three (3) years must include supervisory or managerialexperience in admissions, enrollment management, or a higher education environment. Proven success developing and implementingstrategic recruitment and enrollment initiatives. Experience with data analysis, forecasting, and enrollment reporting.
