Overview The CommuniKids Preschool Admissions Lead at our Falls Church Center plays a vital role in managing the student enrollment process and ensuring a positive experience for prospective families. This position involves coordinating admissions activities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate student information. The Admissions Lead serves as a key point of contact for families, guiding them through the application process and supporting their transition into our preschool community. The ideal candidate will have experience working within academic or educational institutions, possess strong administrative skills, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Responsibilities Manage the entire admissions process from inquiry to enrollment, including scheduling tours, answering questions, and guiding families through application procedures. Utilize student information systems to maintain accurate records of prospective and enrolled students. Provide outstanding customer service to prospective families, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally. Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth onboarding of new students and their families. Prepare and manage documentation related to admissions using spreadsheets and other administrative tools. Maintain detailed records of communications and application statuses to ensure timely follow-up. Collaborate with team members to develop marketing strategies that promote the preschool's programs and enrollment opportunities. Support administrative tasks such as data entry, report generation, and correspondence using Microsoft Office applications. Contribute to creating a welcoming environment that reflects the preschool's values and commitment to early childhood education. Qualifications Proven experience in an academic or educational institution setting is preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel (spreadsheets), and Outlook. Excellent written communication skills for composing correspondence, reports, and promotional materials. Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a professional setting. Experience working with student information systems or similar database management tools. Previous administrative experience with a focus on managing records and documentation. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
