Job Description

Help Everyone Belong The YMCA is seeking a Special Programs Coordinator to support and lead inclusive programming for individuals of all abilities. If you're compassionate, creative, and passionate about making a positive impact, this is your opportunity to build connections, empower participants, and strengthen our community. Full-time | 40 hours/week | Occasional evenings and weekends Experience in special education, recreation, or human services preferred.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Implement high quality adaptable programs and member services that promote inclusion of all abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent general education degree, required. Education or previous work experience in recreational therapy, special education, or equivalent preferred. Certifications that must be obtained and maintained within first 90 days:
CPR, AED
, First Aid , Child Abuse Prevention, Blood borne Pathogens, Hazard Communication. Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.
