  • Full-time Responsible for certifying educational progress for students receiving VA benefits, Workforce Investment Act (WIA).
Communicate with academic advisors and dean's offices to monitor progress toward degree certifications for students receiving VA educational benefits. Process registrations for VA students if they have issues, monitor enrollment status changes. In compliance with all federal and state regulations work with Veterans and their dependents to certify their educational progress using variouso portals and reporting web sites. These are individuals using CH 30, 31, 33, 25, and 1606 benefits. Monitor enrollment status changes of those using VA benefits; ongoing communication with those using VA benefits; participate in National Student Clearinghouse reporting on designated dates. Communicate with academic advisors and deans offices to monitor progress toward degree certifications for students using VA educational benefits. Conduct workshops, develop and provide educational documents for deans offices. Knowledge and ability to interpret degree requirements using Degree Works, the catalog of record and other related methods. Knowledge of undergraduate and graduate academic policies and procedures. Salary Range $38,722
