20 per week About the
Job:
Our school is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of historical content, a love for teaching, and the ability to inspire students to engage with the past in meaningful ways. This is an on-site, in-person teaching role.
Instructional Hours:
Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 8:00
PM Responsibilities:
Teach high school history classes including U.S. History, World History, Economics, and Government Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lesson plans Evaluate student performance through various assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback Create a supportive classroom environment that fosters critical thinking and discussion Collaborate with fellow faculty on curriculum development and interdisciplinary initiatives Attend department meetings, school functions, and professional development sessions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in History, Education, Social Studies, or a related field ( Master's degree preferred ) Strong command of historical content and teaching strategies Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills Experience teaching high school students is highly preferred
