Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Christian Part-Time English and History Teacher to inspire and educate students in the 4th through 7th grades. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to foster literacy and critical thinking through engaging lessons and personalized instruction. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for teaching, adaptability to different learning styles, and experience working with students with disabilities. Duties Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, incorporating curriculum development strategies and learning technology tools Provide individualized instructions to support diverse learning styles Implement classroom management techniques that promote a positive, inclusive environment conducive to active learning Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, adjusting teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support student development in literacy education, writing skills, and biblical application Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood and/or middle grades education or preschool settings, including classroom experience Strong background in teaching English and history, with expertise in lesson planning and curriculum development is a plus Excellent communication skills in English Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and implementing individualized instructions Knowledge of classroom management strategies that foster a respectful and engaging learning environment Professing Christian who is actively involved in the Christian church of your choice.
