7-12 Social Studies Teacher Houlton Middle High School, 26-27 School Year RSU 29 is looking for a dynamic, innovative, and dedicated Social Studies teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. We are looking for an educator who doesn't just teach dates and maps, but inspires critical thinking and civic engagement. Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to: Develop and deliver engaging lessons for grades 7-12 that align with Maine State Standards. Foster a classroom environment that encourages inquiry, debate, and a genuine curiosity about the world Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of our student population Deep knowledge of history, geography, civics and economics

Qualifications:

Maine Department of Education Certification 200 (7-12) Proper Maine DOE certification and background check required for all positions Forward signed application (www.rsu29.org), resume, transcripts, certification and 3 references to: RSU 29
