This is a part-time, temporary position and is part of a pooled adjunct faculty posting for the 2026-2027 academic year. Essential Functions Provide Instruction in Assigned Subject Areas 1. Provide instruction to students according to the objectives of each course assigned. 2. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies in the classroom, online, hybrid, or lab setting that are appropriate to individual student needs and may include, but are not limited to, lectures, small groups, demonstrations, andputer-assisted instruction. Provide For Student Evaluation and Record-keeping 1. Prepare and administer evaluation instruments and maintain accurate student records on attendance, achievement, and progress. 2. Assist in gathering and interpreting data for department assessment. Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging w all students, faculty members, and college employees feel weed, valued, and empowered to contribute. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to teach on the Lincoln, Nebraska campus between 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday. Current knowledge of and ability/skill to teach Fundamentals of Investing, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Personal Finance, and other business courses as needed. Ability/skill to develop and incorporate a variety of engaged learning teaching strategies and techniques in the classroom and in online courses. Ability/skill to relate to colleagues, staff, students, and supervisors of diverse backgrounds in a positive and cooperative manner. Ability to devise and utilize appropriate evaluation methods for classroom use. Ability tomunicate effectively in writing, in person, and on the phone. Ability to use basicputer skills. Ability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds for short distances and move tables, chairs, and media equipment when necessary. The individual must possess the above skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable amodation, using some otherbination of skills and abilities. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in business administration or related field with 18 graduate hours in Accounting, and/or Finance and/or Economics. Two (2) years' experience in the business world. Desired Qualifications Two (2) years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level. Online teaching experience.
