• FY 2027 Job Description CSN is seeking part-time instructors to teach Women's Studies courses, primarily in an on-ground format, with potential opportunities for online instruction.

Teaching assignments will primarily include

Gender, Race, and Class, with additional course assignments based on departmental needs. Core Responsibilities Teach college-level courses in the field. Develop syllabi and course materials. Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes. Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development. Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County. Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Women's Studies or closely aligned field of study from a regionally accredited college or university with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught (also must be from a regionally accredited college or university). Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. in Women's Studies or closely aligned field of study from a regionally accredited college or university. 1 year (two semesters) of teaching Women's Studies courses at the college level. Salary $925.00 per credit hour. Courses/Credits assigned may vary by semester. Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.
