Job Description
This job performs general instructional work and must be knowledgeable in the subject area being taught. Position will know procedures to achieve a positive learning environment for students and create a favorable work environment for the Continuing Education department. High School or GED required with acceptable combinations of education and work experience. Pertinent certifications when required for subject matter taught. One to five years of experience working in subject area to be taught. Ability to maintain an effective classroom learning atmosphere. Ability to work under precise and exacting conditions. Ability to interact effectively with the public, students, faculty and college personnel. Track attendance and effectively conduct the instruction assigned for the course.
- Teach selected assigned course.
- Write assigned syllabi and provide effective training.
- Assist the department in recruiting activities.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Associate Dean.
