A Law Professor teaches national and regional legislative ideas and truths, as well as the methods used in practicing various forms of law to students through a combination of classroom instruction, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field. In some cases, law professors will perform legal services.

- What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- The workload for this position is 40% Teaching/40% Research/20% Service
- :•+ •Teaching (40%):•Faculty members are expected to teach an annual workload of 9-10 credits per academic year and to provide instruction as assigned by the Dean or their delegate.
- Research (40%):
- Faculty members are expected to research and prepare scholarly publications in their areas of expertise. Faculty members are expected to participate in scholarly and research activities that enhance their professional development and contribute to their disciplines, including by participating in academic conferences. +
- Service (20%):
- Faculty members are expected to engage in service to the institution, to students, and to their fields and/or the broader community and the public.
