- $45.90 an hour
- Per Diem, Various hours per week.
- Range includes per diem differential. Boulder Community Health is seeking a Systems Apprentice
- Optime/Anesthesia who is responsible for conducting build and testing of assigned Epic and related application software under the guidance of Epic Systems Analysts. The Systems Apprentice
- Epic works to complete assigned tasks as designated by analysts and management.

- Experience in workflows of area(s) assigned to conduct build and testing required.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude via standardized Sphinx exam is required.
- Epic proficiency for applications supported is preferred
- Healthcare experience preferred in the area of apprenticeship
- Clinic experience preferred. Responsibilities
- Takes direction from application analyst to complete build as assigned.
- Identifies, tests, implements, and validates requested changes to the application or technology.
- Maintains regular communication on all priorities and deliverables, including participating in all relevant departmental and project meetings.
- Participates in training and working with end users.
- Troubleshoots problems and questions.
- Assists in evaluating systems, preparing an analysis of alternatives, and implementing enhancements to existing systems.
- Assists customer departments with the implementation of healthcare technology
- Provides technical and clinical system knowledge necessary to integrate the user environment and workflows with the available technology
- Makes use of BCH and vendor problem/request tracking software, keeping current documentation on all assigned tickets and tasks.
- Ensures all new documentation tools/forms are approved by the necessary workgroups or committees.
- Assists with the development, implementation, and enforcement of the information system security, disaster recovery, and continuity of operation plans for Boulder Community Health applications and technology.
