Job Description

Qualifications:
High school dipolma or equivalent required. Previous experience working in a library preferred. Experience working with children preferred. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and students.
Reports to:
Principal Job Goal:
To assist in providing a library experience for students which enhances their learning.
Performance Responsibilities:
Performs full range of library duties including: helping students find and select books and other resources, checking books and audio visual equipment in and out, cataloging books and magazines, etc. Schedules class visits to the library with teachers and instructs on library usage. Repairs books as necessary. Maintains and operates copy machines, computers, and printers. Assists others in their use. Supervises students assigned to the library during their study times. Maintains inventory of all library materials and equipment. Performs other related duteis as required.
Terms of Employment:
10 months. Salary established by the Governing Board. Employee benefits in accordance with district policy.
