  • Student Assistants Position Summary One temporary hourly-intermittent work study student assistant position available in Art department.
Start Date Position available on or after September 1, 2026 and ending on or before May 31, 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance. Job Description/Duties Duties include but are not limited to: Assist students in the Painting and Printmaking Studios. Ensure safety practices are employed, and that rooms and equipment are kept secure, neat and clean. Assist with technical questions/issues that students may have. Assist with computer/software related troubleshooting. Perform other duties or projects as assigned in the ART Department.
Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:
It is preferred, but not required, that the incumbent demonstrates enrollment as an art major. Prior experience of printmaking processes. Intermediate skill level with PC computers. Basic knowledge of computer art software including Adobe Creative Suite. Prior experience working in an art studio/laboratory environment. Familiarity with Microsoft programs including Word and Excel.
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units. Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying. Salary Range $16.90 per hour.
