APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE POSITION OF MATH INSTRUCTIONAL/INTERVENTIONIST COACH AT LEAD ACADEMY CHARTER SCHOOL QUALIFICATIONS

Current Alabama Teacher's Certification, Bachelor's Degree or higher Classroom experience

JOB GOAL

Coordinate and facilitate the school's mathematics intervention program Teach targeted literacy and/or mathematics intervention to identified small groups Assist teachers with the collection of data. Interprets the data and shares the analysis with the appropriate staff members Collaborates with teachers to identify the literacy and/or mathematics needs of students, to set learning goals and targets, and to problem solve with teachers to develop best practices for continuous academic growth of students in literacy and/or mathematics Review student achievement and assist with placing students in appropriate literacy and/or mathematics intervention Attend professional development to enhance knowledge of pedagogy and content, especially literacy and/or mathematics Maintain and submit accurate and up-to-date management records of all students' progress Perform other duties related to literacy and/or mathematics as assigned by supervisor

SALARY:

Board approved salary schedule based on rank, certification and experience.
