Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our team. As a High School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and providing academic guidance to students. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
  • Utilize effective behavior management techniques to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a productive learning atmosphere
  • Assess student progress through various methods such as tests, projects, and assignments
  • Provide individualized academic advising to students to support their educational goals
  • Incorporate learning technology into lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
  • Stay updated on current educational trends and research to continuously improve teaching methods
  • Support literacy education by promoting reading comprehension and writing skills across subjects
  • Utilize library services to enhance student research skills and promote lifelong learning
Skills:
  • Strong behavior management skills to effectively manage student conduct in the classroom
  • Excellent classroom management abilities to create an organized and structured learning environment
  • Proficiency in curriculum development to design engaging lessons that meet educational standards
  • Copy editing skills to review and provide feedback on student assignments and projects
