Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and support students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment conducive to academic achievement. Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and project-based evaluations; provide timely feedback. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum implementation, instructional design, and educational technology integration to ensure cohesive teaching strategies. Mentor students in academic advising sessions, supporting their personal growth and educational goals while preparing them for higher education or careers in STEM fields. Engage in ongoing professional development related to scientific research, laboratory practices, and new pedagogical approaches in math education. Lead or assist in laboratory activities involving dissection, microbiology experiments, molecular biology techniques, or genetics research to deepen scientific understanding. Support special education needs by implementing tailored instructional strategies and behavior management techniques when necessary. Experience Proven classroom teaching experience at the high school or middle school level with a focus on math and science subjects. Demonstrated expertise in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, differential equations, discrete math, and related STEM disciplines such as organic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, cell biology, and science research laboratory experience. Experience developing curricula that integrate educational technology tools for interactive lessons and assessments. Strong background in classroom management techniques that promote an inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and experience preparing students for exams effectively. Prior involvement in tutoring or mentoring students individually or in groups to improve their understanding of complex concepts. Knowledge of educational compliance regulations and experience implementing curriculum standards within private or public school settings. Ability to collaborate with fellow educators on lesson planning, instructional design, research projects, and educational initiatives. Skills in proofreading instructional materials for accuracy and clarity while ensuring alignment with curriculum goals. Experience working with students who have special education needs or require differentiated instruction strategies is highly desirable.
