Qualifications Proven experience teaching middle or high school students in a classroom setting with a focus on mathematics or science subjects. Strong knowledge of mathematical disciplines such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, and their applications in real-world contexts. Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation aligned with educational standards and regulations. Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapting instruction accordingly. Excellent communication skills paired with classroom management expertise to foster an engaging learning environment. Laboratory experience or research laboratory experience related to biochemistry, microbiology, genetics or molecular biology is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to utilize educational technology tools effectively for lesson planning and delivering IT-integrated lessons. Demonstrated ability in tutoring, mentoring students, and supporting their academic growth through personalized instruction. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and educational compliance requirements relevant to secondary education.
