Canterbury School is seeking a talented and innovative educator to apply for a possible full-time Mathematics teaching position, beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking an educator who is committed to student growth and excited to contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking department.Teaching Role:
This position is full-time, with a potential focus on teaching Algebra 1, Geometry and/or Algebra 2. We are especially interested in candidates with additional content knowledge that extends across a range of courses such as Statistics, Precalculus, Data Science, or Computer Science. In the classroom, we want to see a variety of effective pedagogical approaches adaptable to the needs of the students.Responsibilities:
Teach a full schedule of math classes (5 sections).Serve as an advisor to a small group of students through their middle or high school career.Participate in school communal responsibilities such as proctoring, committee work, and chaperoning field trips or school events.
