This full-time contract position is ideal for passionate teachers with strong general education Math expertise who thrive in a dynamic academic setting and are ready to make an immediate impact.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active Louisiana DOE Certification (temporary teaching credentials not accepted) Demonstrated subject matter knowledge in high school level Math Previous experience in general education preferred Prepared to undergo district-specific background checks, including a drug screen and fingerprinting, prior to start Ability to adapt to varying school assignments and caseload details (to be determined upon assignment)
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging Math instruction to high school students, tailoring methods to diverse learning styles and needs Collaborate with colleagues to support a cohesive educational environment and implement school-wide initiatives Foster a supportive classroom climate that encourages student participation, inquiry, and academic growth Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adapting strategies to enhance achievement Maintain thorough records and communicate with parents, staff, and administrators as needed
Schedule & Commitment:
